On March 11, Congressman Devin Nunes delivered remarks before the House in opposition to S.22 - a massive public lands package that included a provision to implement the San Joaquin River Settlement. The San Joaquin River deal, as currently being pushed in Congress, will deprive more than 250,000 acre feet of water from parched San Joaquin Valley communities. It will dry up 300,000 acres of farmland and increase unemployment.
