I have the fortunate opportunity to sing Galt MacDermot's wonderful score as Tobey in an upcoming Astoria Performing Arts Center's production of The Human Comedy! This truly was the most beautifully composed musical you have never heard of. In fact, I found it interesting that there was no mention of it in this clip however the reference made in the title comes from the song "Beautiful Music" which comes from The Human Comedy. Check it out...the music is genius!

He is really amazing. iIhad the great, good fortune to play Felix in his stunning "Human Comedy' on and off Broadway. What a talent. four of us in the cast dreamnt of singing a review of his work. Alsa, it did not happen. I will treasure the memory of this unsung amazing show. Thanks for posting this. his music always moves me.

I am sending this link to lots of friends. Can't wait for this film!! Galt's music is even more relevant today than it was 40 years ago. We need a HAIR revival on Broadway to remind the under 30 crowd of Vietnam ... and Iraq.
