Diesel/Veggie Lister in operation (2/2 pistons)

Mark has improved his setup. Here the engine is running under its own power - two cylinders.

Added since last post:
- exhaust pipes vent to outside (flex pipe on left)
- glow plugs added for easier starting (battery powered - right)
- 3 40L fuel jugs hung from cieling
- 3-to-1 fuel valve to select fuel (diesel or veggie)

Still to-do:
- cooling system
- muffler
- sound-proof the shed
- install electrical cables to his house
- coil veggie fuel lines around exhaust to keep them liquid in the Ottawa winter

I presume the exhaust pipes leaked? Also have you tested to see how much veggie oil it consumes per hour or per day if ran 24/7?

Yes, the exhaust leak has been fixed and it works great now. This is not my engine, I don't have numbers for fuel consuption. But the person it was bought from claimed 1.1L/hr.
