I own this 1985 Toyota Corolla 1300DX 5-door Hatchback (AE82), manual transmission. It's a very reliable car, has never broke down so far. It always starts immediately, even when it has been standing still for weeks (even months) during the winter. You just got to love these Corolla's!
@b3nniiiiii they are becoming harder to find. Rust is it's biggest killer and that by now, 3rd owners don't really look after them,so they are quickly disappearing. This was the AE82 and only the trim/garnishes were altered over the following years until the AE92. The AE82 was the better handling of the two. My brother got his t/c on two wheels on the 5ways roundabout at Miranda back then.. still makes me laugh..
