Demi: (sighs) Goodbye Cody...
Cody: Bye...(he also slumps out of the room)

(Demi is alone in her hospital room, she thinks of her social situation...She loves Joe with all her heart, but she also loves Nick like a brother, but thats starting to change. Demi is starting to have feelings for Nick...this could be a problem because she still is blindly in love with Joe. With Nick being around her 24/7
things might become a little awkward. With Cody and Selena back in town Demi feels happier because her best friends are here. Shes wondering how Joe is going
to take Cody being madly in love with her, even though Demi feels nothing at all toward him except that hes her best friend. She wishes she could hear Joe or (hesitating to think this) Nicks voice right now, being all alone in a creepy hospital can get kind of freaky.)
(Demis phone rings *ringtone is Jonas Brothers Kung Fu Grip)
Demi: Hello?
Joe: Hey baby, how ya feelin?
(A.N I forgot to mention Joe had to the operation and it went great so he's fine)
Demi: Oh My Gosh I was just thinking about you...(smiles to herself)
Joe: I was thinking about you too, hence the call...
Demi: (giggles) So, how was lunch?
Joe: Great, I had the best sandwich ever!
Demi: Cool...so...are you guys coming back soon? (Innocent voice)
Joe: Do I sense an I miss you Joe thought?
Demi: Maybe...(she grins to herself)
Joe: Dont worry baby your knight in shining armors coming!
Demi: (laugh) Good, cause to tell you the truth this place is scaring me...
Joe: Yes! Now I can give you my specialty dont be scared hug!
Demi: Cant wait!
Joe: Oh, Nick wants to say hi...
Demi: (thinks to herself okay dont come on too...yknow...) Okay...
Nick: Hey Demi...
Demi: Hey...
Nick: Feeling better?
Demi: Lots...are you guys coming back now?
Nick: Ya were on our way...so see you soon...
Demi: Ya...
Both: Bye...(they quickly hang up)
Demi: Well, that was awkward...
(about 10 Minutes later the boys show up)
Joe: (Joe runs into the room and gives Demi his dont be scared hug) Demi!!!!
Demi: Hi Joe! (She hugs him back) What an outstanding hug (she grins at him)
Joe: I know...
Frankie: (runs into the room) Demi!!! Are you feeling better?
Demi: yup, thanks for asking little man! (She ruffles his hair)
Kevin: Glad to see your pretty smile again (he hugs her)
Demi: Thanks Kev...
Denise: Oh thank god your okay Demi...
Paul: You gave us quite the scare there...
Nick: (steps up beside his dad) Hey...Demi...
Demi: Hi...Nick...
Joe: (interrupts) I know!! Ill get Demi some flowers...Be Right Back!!!
Frankie: Me too!!
Kevin: Hey Frankie wait up!!! (the three boys run out of the room A.N It was 4 hours after Joes operation so he feels lots better)
Denise: (gets a signal from Nick to leave) Um, Paul why dont we... get a coffee...
Paul: Sure...
(Nick and Demi are left alone and theres an extremely awkward silence)
Nick: So...(he sits in a chair across from Demis hospital bed)
Demi: look...Nick...
Nick: I know what your going to say...
Demi: Who knew liking each other would make things so awkward...
Nick: I know, I was expecting things would just stay the same...
Demi: Me too...but I guess liking someone else, even a little bit when your dating some one else will still have an effect...
Nick: (pause) I wish it didnt
Demi: Same...I liked it before when we were like...
Nick: Brother and Sister...
Demi: God Nick! Why do you have to be so likeable!
Nick: (laughs) Sorry...
Demi: (smiles and slowly gets up) Lets go see if I can get out of this place...
Nick: Ya, maybe its the hospital thats making us act weird...
Demi: Maybe...(they walk out together and walk down the hall a little bit)
Doctor: Oh! Demi I was just coming to talk to you...
Demi: And, what were you going to say...?
Nick: Can she go home?
Doctor: Well...yes...but I have to give you some prescription drugs that you have to take every day...if you dont youll be as sick as a dog for 5 hours and then itll wear off...(chuckles to himself about the thick as the dog joke)
Demi: Oh okay...thats not too bad, so can I have the pills? This hospital is making me dizzy...
Doctor: here they are...(he gives them to her)
Nick: Thanks for everything doc...Oh Ya, and what about Joe...is he okay?
Doctor: Yes, but for the next couple of days he may get tired and weak very easily...so just watch that...
Demi: Okay, thank you doctor bye... (they leave)
(Nick texts his mom that him and Demi are going home and Denise texts Joe to tell him to bring him the flowers to the house and Demi and Nick walk home)
