Brady having fun at the dog park.

Brady was confiscated along with 51 other pets from a home in Arlington Texas on or around 8/14/2010. Since the pets where being kept in a hording enviroment, all the pets confiscated were available to rescue only. Brady was chosen from a list of other pets, to be saved by Midcities Humane Society.

Brady is a puppy that weighs 19 lbs when I picked him up from the shelter. Now he weighs around 25-30 and he has almost doubled in side. He is learing to trust very well. At first he would only make contact with my stretched out fingers, now he comes to me for a full body rub. He is playing full on with all the dogs and is still learning dog manners while being corrected by the other dogs. He arrived scared and untrusting, now he is happy baby that is getting happier all the time. He entered his foster home with his tail between his legs. Now his tail doesn't stop wagging. Brady is absolutely beautiful! Once he gains the confidence he needs, this guy is going to be a wonderful companion. BUT....Brady will need a new home that will be patient with him. I have wondered if he was deaf in the beggining because he doesn't seem to learn from the other dogs when they have had enough of him. He just keep at them. But I have confirmed Brady can definetly hear. It is hard to say why he is not learning like the rest of the foster dogs. From what I understand, Brady and the 51 animals that were confiscated, were living in rooms throughout the house never leaving that room. Never getting to go outside. So, Brady might be a little nutty. Poor baby! But he is sweet as can be. He will ve changing for the better throughout the next year and should be as normal as possible within 6 months of living a life of a normal dog.

BRADY LOVES MORE THAN ANYTHING: WATER!! HE HAS A BABY PLASTIC POOL AS WELL AS AN INGROUND POOL HE GETS INTO SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.

UPDATE: 10/26/10
Brady is now crate trained, not focusing on housetraining!
