Thanks for posting this! The way he travelled in the 2000 Guineas was as good as El Gran Senor in my view, and a great Indian Summer for Lester topped off with poor old Willie Carson being denied yet again by his old adversary in a Group 1 lol

if ever a horse was made for Lester, this was it. Rodrigo wasn't one of the absolute greats but did the job without ever looking as though it was all that difficult - because Lester just seemed to time the run perfectly. If memory serves, it all looked a bit unlikely when he was turned over in the Greenham in April...
