The whole world is filled with psychopaths and compulsive liars, and all of them are addicts to one form of manipulation or another.
Our daily lives are hammered on by advertisements designed to affect our subconscious. The fact that they entertain us too, means the whole thing seems natural to us when we wear the advertisements as a fashion statement. Perverse or psychopathic social survival skills are indistinguishable from the daily corporate survival skills.
I could rant on and on about how asleep everyone is, but there is no end to the complaints, and complaining doesn't matter because you are all addicted.
The solution is so simple, but simple doesn't mean it's 'easy' when you are an addict.
How many addicts will accept that the solution for their addiction is to quit? Yet they don't quit. Of course, getting an addict to accept they are an addict is simple as long as you are not the addict. Unfortunately, it's difficult for the addict to come to this realization for themselves, hence the term 'addict'!
We love Brad & Angelina because they are attractive, not because we have a clue about what they believe and why they have chosen to take the action they have in their lives. We pay attention to the distractions of Brittney, Paris, OJ and Michael Jackson because paying homage to the actual people killed in the war each day for oil isn't sexy or sensational. Just how superficial and consumer driven is this addiction we are in?
We hate the war, yet we spend untold amounts of time playing games of violence in a war-like setting.
We hate our jobs, yet we devote 68% of our lives to it. We hate being stuck in traffic, but we devote another 8% of our lives to it. We hate paying for profit driven gas that funds the warmongers and their advancing global control, but we are addicted to the upside down loan situation of our BMW's and the rolling refridgerators branded as 'Hummers'.
We hate knowing that we can't make money as fast as inflation devalues it, but our whole lives still revolve around money!
We do what we hate in order to survive
We CARE about what we hate, but only to survive.
We are addicts to the focus our lives have taken, just so we can survive.
What is that focus and addiction?
Money.
I know. You smart people will defend your addiction by excusing it with, "but everyone else is doing it", or "it's not money, but the stuff money gets us". That doesn't change the fact you are not excused and are, in fact, an addict.
You don't see it because your addiction has become so widespread that it appears normal to you. In fact, for many generations this addiction has been passed off as 'normal'. It's still an addiction even if you were born into it like the rest of us.
Rationalizations will be endless justifications in defense of your addiction, but doesn't stop making it an addiction.
See, you KNOW money doesn't grow on trees, but you no longer make the association that this means it is NOT natural, but an artifice. It's a fictional creation. This disassociation would normally be regarded as a mental aberation in clinical settings, but even the therapists are addicted. This is truly a prison for your mind. We've got an entire culture, political system, laws and LIFE wrapped around this 'money' stuff, and you've become an addict along with everyone else for many generations now. Wake UP!
How normal has coffee, alcohol and tobacco addiction become in society? It doesn't stop it from being an addiction either, does it? It's just so widespread that it appears normal, and we don't think of it as an addiction like we would crack, or heroine. But what if addiction to crack were considered 'normal'? Would you blink an eye if tomorrow there were a 'crack lounge' in your office's employee lounge along with the coffee maker in it?
The point is, just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean it's not an addiction. People are addicted to crack. People are addicted to tobacco People are addicted to coffee. People are addicted to alcohol And EVERYONE is addicted to money. Just because society accepts the addiction as 'normal' does not change the fact it's still an addiction.
An addict will degrade them self to obtain their fix. Sometimes the degradation is more dehumanizing than at other times. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your TV. Sometimes it's worse when you discover it in your schools or your churches.

Truth is repugnant to an addict of fallacy. We must love Truth for all it's worth, and reject lies in all aspects in order to open our eyes to reality.
