Kürzlich erst mit dem norwegischen Trondheim Orchestra zu Gast,
kehrt Joshua Redman nun mit seiner eigenen Formation zurück.
Obwohl -- ganz stimmt das auch nicht:
James Farm versteht sich als ein Kollektiv gleichberechtigter
Individuen, was der musikalischen Qualität der somit leaderlosen
Band selbstredend keinen Abbruch tut.

I fell in love with JR's sound the first time I heard him. But before I go further I have to say hats off to the band. The front man always gets the props so we can come back to him... Art Blakey once said, "Jazz is such a technical music." Parks, Newman, and Harland have got that technique down! Harland is just such a cool drummer, like Max Roach was. JR's sound is unmistakable, truely unique and he has his own voice, his own sound: the perfect blend of all his musical influences.
