Every piece of audio you record will automatically be saved in your audio bin. Every recording in your audio bin takes up memory from your hard drive,so if you use take folders frequently you'll need to clean up those unused files. In the Long run not cleaning your audio bin involves much confusion looking for files or just draining all your computers memory.
thaks!

Hey peeps,
the way below removes files from the Audio Folder on you drive as well as Bin
select
Audio File - Delete Files in the Audio Bin,
and not just Edit-Delete in the Audio Bin
("Audio File" Menu is directly to the left of the "Edit" menu in the Audio Bin)
This is quite confusing, but "delete" does not remove the audio files, while "delete files" should move them to the trash...

Just discovered an easier way (stupid me).
Just do a "Save As" under a different name and it will create a new folder with all the audio. Delete the old one.

Do the following:
1) Select all the files you're left with in your Bin.
2) Under Audio File select Copy/Convert Files
3) Down the bottom click New Folder
4) It will copy all files into the Logic Project Audio Folder in a separate folder.
5) Delete all the other files from your Audio Folder, except the new folder you just made.
6) Copy the content of your new folder back into the Audio Folder.
This is a bit of a manual way of cleaning up, but it works.

Hello Friend, thanks for the tip. I'm new at Logic Pro but here is the issue. When I select unused in Bin and hit delete (or function+delete) it just take off the audio from the Bin, not from my Logic project audio Folder, so the files keep taking HD space. Am I missing something? Thank you very much!
