Hearts On Fire

Hot blood comes coursing, fast, through my veins
"Hold on tight boy, hold onto the reins."
Yesterday's burn remembers more...the unbargained wager
Hot dice rolled, eyes closed, an imminent danger
Yet, searing blazes ignite, ourselves aglow with fire
As a tendered heart knows of love's ending pyre.
How far must we keep from the inferno of the heat,
To a cost of smoldering embers, our souls never to meet.


Two (To) A Bed

We sleep two (to)
a bed
touching only words
left unsaid
On scortched sheets faded,
from view
amongst no light, color, or hue.

Windswept dreams blown over
passion
winter's cold season
faintly in fashion.
I finally awake
to a textile embrace,
at love's hidden memory
leaving no trace.

SHE IN SIX LINES

And, her vissage with strands of undulating curls, culminating in
golden fire, cooled only by her white smile.

From amidst a vestals heart, uniformly consecrated by beams of
Her returning, unending grace.

She walks in steps hinted by fragrence of patchouli, faint clues
To indelible vestiges of her mans heart.

Her sweet angels breath, speaks to the flowers of the field in
Gentle tunes, to the light amusement of time.

A spark of her own, pursued and somehow found, careens throughout
Worlds in unending lifespan, time curving inward, unto a lovers equinox.

And yet, ashes rain fron an ascending phoenix, riding upon
The sweet edges of a crest, emanating onlyfrom her love, and...
