Transitional Fossils: Non-Human Apes to Modern Humans
The following is a small collection of fossils that show the transition between non-human apes and modern humans. This slideshow is in no way comprehensive; nor is it meant to give an in-depth description of each fossil shown and the differences between them.
This video is simply intended to illustrate that transitional fossils exist, and are abudant.
Note: The fossils in this video are presented in roughly chronological order.
Before I begin I feel the need to give a definition for what a transitional fossil is:
"A transitional fossil or transitional form is the fossilized remains of a life form that illustrates an evolutionary transition"
(Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transitional_fossil)
Fossils Displayed (dates are approximate):
[13 mya] Pierolapithecus catalaunicus
[4.4 mya] Ardipithecus
[3.7 mya] Australopithecus
[1.9 mya] Homo rudolfensis
[1.9 to 1.6 mya] Homo habilis
[1.7 to .25 mya] Homo erectus
Pitures: All pictures in this video came from searching the internet using google.

You look at is as an accident, we look at it as life. Evolution is 100 percent proven buddy, and you can straight up deny the facts all you want. Christianity has been circling the drain since Darwin came in and you guys started to take the bible as a metaphor instead of literal. Get over it.

@rmcdaniel423 That's exactly like my dad. He's an extremely intelligent guy when it comes to engineering, management and pretty much every field of business, but he's been brainwashed by religion. He refuses to believe in human evolution, no matter how many times me and my sister have tried explaining it to him. It's really frustrating.

@cwross1976 "how many happy accidents of this or that natural process did it take before people had eyes that werked?" May I suggest that you research how natural selection works? The reason we have eyes is not by some chance, but because they were specifically selected for. Genetics is the very foundation of evolution, we can see exactly where deletions and duplications have occurred and continue to occur, and we can see where two human chromosomes have fused during evolution.

@oldhank2003 "similar to the "scientific/ medical genius' " who tried to devise a polio vaccine. But instead started a cancer epidemic" got any proof for that claim or did you just make this bullshit up like your 'genomes'?

@cwross1976 I would not bring chromosomes into this because they provide a living record of the mutations and fusions which led to the human species, in fact we can still see the exact location where two fused together throughout history because the telomeres are still there.
"you have faith that God does not exist". wow, so by your logic you have faith that zeus, baal and the thousands of other gods humanity has invented does not exist. or do you dismiss them because there is no evidence?

@AussiePolitics well i don't know about the other guy but my chromosomes indicate to me that data, you know like your thoughts as you read this, must come from somewhere... so far we are not aware of everywhere (i love the english language... so stilted and dense...) so maybe we just don't know yet where God is. you don't bvelieve that though... you have faith that God does not exist, it must be faith because you sure as hell (pun intended) don't have proof.

ok, heres the thing, if a life form (like you) isn't a cat it will never, ever be a cat or anything else. genetics is the nail in the coffin of the dead horse that is evolution but you atheists just keep beating it expecting it get up and run for you... the atheist creation myth is even harder to believe than the christain one. how many happy accidents of this or that natural process did it take before people had eyes that werked? with light? allowing you to see, in in depth? oh forget it

Yesterday I had a discussion with the brilliant orthopedic surgeon where I work. A man of great scientific education. He was testifying about his incredible "faith" and how he came to be deeply religious. He went on about how there were absolutely "no transitional forms" for any species, especially humans, and that evolution is wrong. The vast chasm of his knowledge and his faith just astounded me. I don't know how he rectifies the two in his own mind. I was stunned & at a loss for words.
