@halofreak3317 Not necessarily. Being able to push the limits of double bass drum playing is a mix of having the proper amount of control and having a good pedal thats perfectly adjusted to your playing.

Hey! You know instead of putting the tape on, you can use the allen wrenches that should have come with the set to flip over the plates on the pedal? The other side of the plate will have better grip (opposite side of the bumps you have taped over) Try that out :)

the main pedal is longer than the slave pedal.What did you do to make it longer?Are you saying it converts into a longboard?
-
Is there a lot of "play" in the drive shaft?

I have these and fuckin hate them

Pearl Eliminators, Iron Cobras or Mapex Falcons?? Please tell me your opinion! :)
-
@Jellybeanamania Hahaha! Yea that's true! :)
-
@Osskarii thats true, i've already made that mistake with the shitty kit i hav now, but i'm only 13 so i hav time to wait :D
-
@Jellybeanamania K cool.. But if you have the money then you should buy some decent pedals like these Eliminators or DW 5000s! 'Cause you have to buy some new ones at some point! :)
-
@Osskarii yeah cos i thought that i've never used double bass b4 so i might as well get some not so good ones
-
@Jellybeanamania Of course good pedals make it easier to maintain fast speeds and they create less fatigue.. But it's a good idea to practice with shitty pedals :D
I have a pearl p122tw double pedal right now , and I was just wondering if the eliminators are That much better ?

@Psychostick1 Because they are dual chain, they stay much more stable when using the swivel technique and heal toe. I'm pretty sure the p122tw pedal just comes with one cam. If you went with this pedal, you'd have no shortage of adjustability options.
