Is America even a democracy?

I was under the impression that law had to conform to the dictates of their constitution written 200 years ago by a handful of individuals - thats not democracy to me.

Apparently, you don't understand that if these countries have a monarchy: it's because THE PEOPLE want it.

The English want their monarch and they don't make a shit if the monarch put his signature, it's only a protocol and the law voted by the parliament will be adopted (the signature put or not)

If the English want a republic, they'll vote the republicans and if the republicans are in majority, the country will become a republic...
