Entrepreneurship is an art, that requires a lot of determination to pull through and at its heart, is the desire to fuse one's passion and profits in a business venture. For 26-year-old Cosmas Ochieng, this dream turned into a reality after he set up Kenya Eco-Energy 3 years ago. His firm produces both edible and non-edible oils from locally sourced raw materials. Ochieng's story is one of unwavering determination and a shining example of how one can transform a passion into an enterprise.

  • Pongezi. Young guy going places!!!!

  • @mkenyakamilifu Stop this ethnic deduction, after all what makes you think he is not a Kikuyu, he could be an adopted Kikuyu with a Luo name by Luo parents or just a Giriama with a Luo name, think out of the box. And whats this about his saftey, kwani Kikuyus eat people ?

  • Such a brilliant young man. At least our youths are strong while it comes to innovation. Ministry of youth should nurture the young people and harness that brain.

  • what happens when those seeds kwisha?

  • wow! what do you say? Reminds me of the Malawian Boy who build electricity supply from nothing! Makes me proud! All the best to you...cheers!

  • this here is the vision 2030. keep up the good work

  • Good job Mr Ochieng', these are the Kenyans I admire watching. And the news I smile watching. May your company flourish and with it employ many Kenyans directly and indirectly. We need more of such news not the ignorant empty heads buffoons in politics. Politicians think the government harvests money from trees. Not until we have many manufacturing, processing, service providing and other investments to employ Kenyans, increase tax collection that we can develop our nation.

  • This young has me so green with envy. Please NTV, could you give more exposure to young enterprising people like these? We are so sick of the polarising vitro from those politicians you keep bombarding us with on a daily basis.

    Good Job Cosmos

  • VISIONARY LEADER

  • @mkenyakamilifu I doubt the common man, especially in Nyeri would seek to cause him harm he is, development..he knows this.. his confidence ,thus comfort says it all.. why ? he is not of colonial collaborator stock.. there're only 2 tribes in Nyeri, the "Hunie`s and the Hutie`s"( Mbari ya Hunii` na ya Hutii`)
