@supertricheco Thanks! Yeah, Ubuntu and snow leopard are not that far from the same, seeing as Snow Leopard/Lion and Ubuntu are both lightweight OS's that are fast and elegant. XP really isn't any of those, and Windows 7 is a good option, but I really don't want to buy another OS after upgrading from Vista(worse one.) And since that is narrowed down, we can both see that Ubuntu is not only as great as apple(if not better), BUT it FREE!! Awesome!! Thanks for replying, guess I now know what to do!
@SniperNator305 Sure. I switched to Ubuntu last year, my laptop used to be a damn wreck, could not do anything with it. Ubuntu is just great, an Apple is nothing better in my opinion.
@lavaboy23, what you mean you have to find a way to locate program ? you can do whereis nameofaprogram, it will show you the location of the program, or you can just use the icon, press the window key will quickly bring up the search bar, type your program name and enter, it will run for you
Its freakinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg sweet lol I used Ubuntu a year ago on my last laptop and worked perfectly. But the laptop is dead and i gotten a new one but ubuntu never supported it well (hardware) until now! I love it. I just have to find a way to locate Programs.....
@jorge44m Did you try Ndiswrapper?

@omgubuntu Is this better/faster than Windows XP? Would you recommend replacing XP with Ubuntu?
