Hey Skimkirby! I actually found a way to defeat the bulborbs. You need about 60 or more red pikmin, and then swarm it's back, overwhelming it will give you a huge advantage. However, there is 20% chance that your pikmin may die if your using a differnt colored pikmin but it may happen to red pikmin too. Hope it helps.
