Bobby Layne, wearing number 33 (he wore number 22 only during his senior year) was a one man wrecking crew in the 1946 Cotton Bowl playing for The University of Texas. Layne ran for 3 touchdowns, threw for two and was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass as well as kicking 4 extra points in Texas' 40 to 27 win over Missouri. Hook 'em Horns Bobby, Longhorn Nation will always remember you!
