He got back to his roots. Just check out all the early stuff which with he got famous.
Until 1972 or so he never played Fender, just Gibsons!

Clapton is in fact a Gibson player. His first Guitar was a Gibson, all his early songs until like 1972 or so were recorded with gibsons.
With this Album he just got back to his roots!

I love Eric Clapton and think he is truly the greatest! The feeling he plays with is unmatched! But... I really don't think this song is any good at all.
