Bullies are weak, inferior cowards that are in positions of power. Can you think of a worse recipe in a business environment?

Then there's the behavior, they stop at nothing to ruin the lives of people they target, and cost the company time, enerdy and opportunity. Why don't companies fire these losers?

I've been bullied continuously at work for years. I just watch them screw up, which is what they are apt to do since they are usually incompetent dolts. There is a bully in every office--a psychic vampire, if you will--who feeds on fear and hate. You can ignore them but they'll only work harder to ruin your day. You can, however, take heart in the fact that in their lives everyone is a threat to their delusions of grandeur, and that there is no peace for the bully in this world or in the next.

There is a solution for every problem. We need to put pressure on Congress to organize a specialized Judicial Citation committee that would receive the complaints of harassment,and open an investigation. To avoid severe penalty the business or school would be given a window of time in order to internally resolve issues. During the investigation further complaints of harassment would sanction the business or school with monetary fines, and protect the victim's job.

It's good you are trying to help with this issue that is LARGER THAN LIFE. However, I don't think there is a solution. It's like trying to extinguish all greed or evil in the world. Thanks for trying though.

I was a target of a work place bully. It was a silent war where no words were exchanged between myself and the bully. I reported the bully to my superiors. the bully was sabotaging me as a person and also sabotaging my work. Finally in January I wrote my superiors a letter of resignment. They opted to move me to a new branch where I presently work. If not for the events that took place then I would not be sitting here with a hand that was partially crippled during a the recent accident I had.
