Well it sounds like America DOES hate Japan. After all, AMERICA still HATES Japan for what they done when they bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941, and that over 70 years ago, and plus everyhing is EDITED in America. If you ask me, Japan is my representation of Heaven while AMERICA is My representation OF HELL. America DOES NOT TRUST or LIKE ANY NON-AMERICAN country around the world We perceive them as OUR ENEMY. That is why people in different countries do not like America or American tourists.
Well I don't think america hates Japan, but then again, they do edit stuff out from Japanese imports, which I don't like one bit. That's why I stopped watching american TV. Nothing fun to watch anymore.
See what I mean? Americans and ALL NON-ASIAN game companies DON'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS about being creative and innovative. They just care about the MONEY. Also AMERICA is trying to show EVERYONE that THEIR GAMES are BETTER than the JAPANESE by advertising them on TV here in AMERICA and NOT LETTING HARDLY ANY JAPANESE GAME BE ADVERTISED ON TV!! I SWEAR, America REALLY HATES JAPAN!!
I dunno but I'm sure it was Atari back in the 80's that wanted to do that. In fact, Nintendo wanted to ask for their help back then because they felt they could not compete with Atari. Sure enough, Atari failed and gave Nintendo a chance, which they took, to take the market by storm.
I also agree with the advertisements. I hate seeing more commercials for Guitar Hero than Mega Man. Oh how I wish we had gotten the anime commercials for Mega Man Zero here on the states.
No. Japan DESERVES to creative and innovative. What makes me so MAD nowadays is that Japanese games are HARDLY advertised and not very well known. Thus it makes most of them obscure. Like I said , whoever it was that wanted AMERICA to be the DOMINIANT DEVELOPER in videogames nowadays is going to pay dearly. Americans RUINED the game industry once, and we'll probably do it again, only this time the Japanese won't bail us out!
Or at least be as creative and innovative as the Japanese are. I mean, I went to "E for All" last year to check out another gaming convention. Sure enough, 95% of them were american games, meaning nothing but war FPS', Guitar Hero/Rock Band booths, and fantasy MMORPG's. Is that it? Don't we got anything else to show for our side industry?
@TKGB2006 You got that right, dude.

If you are wondering about the other 5%:
1% was Soul Caliber 3
1% was Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1% Marvel vs. Capcom 2
1% was Kirby
and 1% was indie games.
