  • you can use 2500L of veg or bio before you have to pay tax, you do have to register with C&E

  • No you don't have to register, only keep basic records of what you are using. The overhead for HMRC is one of the main reasons the 2.5K limit was introduced.

  • being doing this for 6 years with my 1998 2.5td jeep cherokee, runs fine, winter just mix with around 25 to 50% derv and some acitone around 200ml for a full tank,we have started her at -17c on straight veg oil(new svo)let her ehat up for 10 or 15 mins and she will be fine, good heater plugs are a must as veg has a lower flash point the derv, there is no loss in power and she runs smother, mots emissions are near nil for a car thats 12 years old,if using used oil, filter and de water first, info on net

  • I went to paris and back on a tank of veg oil in my BMW 530d Touring 2003 reg. No problems at all.

  • wow that l200 drinks fule but good on ya

  • .... also, if you put virgin oil in your tank is it less polluting... and when you've used it in your engine is it ok to put back in the chip pan?

  • Have you heard of those new engine adaptors that allows diesel engines to process human mucus? I read about it but I'm not sure if it's a wind up

  • Where did u get it and how much £££?

I have an electric heater as standard after the filter, but I dont know how effective it is.

I havent converted mine yet but I will soon.

Mine has to have veg oil at over 45 degrees C to not kill pump- bloody lucas!

  • Don't have a heated fuel filter. I have a flat plate heat exchanger that uses the coolant water to heat the oil before it goes into the filter.

  • What sort of heated fuel filter did u use?

    if u used one?

  • Yeah, I've got a twin tank system. See my other video of that.

  • have u noticed u cant get pura oil for 56p a litre anymore?
