80% of america would join a union in america if the choice was given to them.. fascism stinks...low pay , long hours, no benefits ,fired on the spot for any reason whatsoever... slavery is not freedom... its time to abolish the federal reserve system and free both the workers and the business owners from their economic tyranny.

I think the present system with unions works fine. It should be left alone, not changed as political payback.

A little tongue in cheek. With some companies and industries a union is a good thing. In most cases they have outlived their usefulness and become another hand in your pocket. Back in the old days the gave you health care for paying dues, now your dues go to fund Democratic politicians whither you are a Democrat or not. They do help keep up the pay scale for certain occupations and have a decent pension as a rule.

-Its the unsustainable pay scale, as well as people who have been collecting a pension for longer than they worked with the company, that brought GM, and, Chrysler down. Its kind of like how parasites destroy the human body, while feeding off it.

I was not referring to the auto unions, only my personal situation. The auto unions asked for and got too much over the years. They drug the big three into bankruptcy with their over generous benefits packages. Kind of like our congress.

The Unions have changed over the years. They are all political now. Similiar to communist countries. Take it from someone who knows.
