  • Albert who?

did you mean Einstein?hope not Albert King....

  • Yes, King. Albert was one of Jimmie's biggest influences.

  • holy crap! I was at this show.. and DUDE!!! I was sitting right next to you... that's same position i was at. what a great show!

  • Ha ha.... that's cool. And what a great show it was, INDEED.

  • I know Jimmie takes a lot of shit because he's always compared to his brother but this is one of his best performances. This is really good

  • Thanks! :) Seeing it live was AMAZING. And after all... Jimmie was Stevie's mentor-- and idol. Remember that.

  • OK OK.are you from N.J.?

How is the BOSS over there???( I mean B.S.)

  • A great performance from Jimmie (totally true). I totally agree with that, but it is still too weak and boring compared to Stevie's version. Stevie was and always will be better than Jimmie, and no matter that Jimmie influenced Stevie to play guitar (Stevie had many other even more important influences as well), so Jimmie wasn't his main, but anyway, Stevie was the best.

  • No problem. And yeah that's why I don't get why Jimmie gets a lot of shit because he didn't play like his brother. They played totally different. And yeah if it wasn't for Jimmie playing guitar first than there would have been no Stevie

  • Jimmie does a song so associated with his late younger brother. Thanks for pointing out that SRV didn't write it.
