  • I'm actually surprised that Famicom Wars was the first in the Nintendo Wars series other than Advance Wars, despite the fact that it was never released outside of japan.

    Great review though.

  • Thanks! This was the first video editing I did....ever. The series chronology goes like this: Famicom Wars Gameboy Wars Gameboy Wars 2 Super Famicom Wars BS Super Famicom Wars [incomplete] Gameboy Wars 3 [GBC] Advance Wars Advance Wars 2 Black Hole Rising Advance Wars Duel Strike Advance Wars Days of Ruin Advance Wars was so good because it was a highly polished, refined game that used many ideas introduced in GB Wars 3 and Super FC Wars, all while using the same basic formula of the original.
  • when are you going to make a review for Super Famicom Wars?

  • During my next batch of reviews, I'll probably throw in a quick Super Famicom Wars review. The thing is, Super Famicom Wars is a remake, not a sequel, so everything I talk about here applies to SFC as well. The only differences are that SFC adds a few minor additions, tweaks and revisions.

  • I want this but I can't find it on eBay.

  • Keep looking and good luck. Famicom Wars isn't epically rare, and should pop up on ebay or other import sites every so often. I bought my copy on ebay from an Italian seller, so if the middle of Europe can sell it, surely North American and Japanese sellers can follow suit.

  • This is incredible. Really, I can't seem to be able to find Famicom Wars on SNES, but I sure am enjoying Super Famicom Wars.

    5/5

  • The only easy way is downloading a ROM and that's illegal so I would rather do it the hard and legal way.

  • For these early reviews, I did make a lot of mistakes. Unfortuntely I don't have the source video anymore, so it would be impossible to fix minor spelling errors without redoing the entire review. Not to say that I won't someday, but for now it'll have to stay as it is.

  • you might wanna edit the part that says Copywrights for Copyrights.
