  • Just watch any 60s-early 70's performace of any blues artist in front of an European audience - the usual audience over there always acted the same, except for the small amount of people that already were fans of blues and rock since the early-mid 60s.

  • this music makes me leave my body. How can anyone say that anyone else? can cut Johnny on slide? hes just the best.long live the white rabbit!

  • @maimiked European audiences were always like that. But don't be mistaken..they absorb everything.

It used to shock the early Jazz artists like Charlie Parker when they toured Europe and thought the audience were disliking the show.

Parker said , infact, they'd taken note of every minor detail.

  • According to the Johnny Winter Story page the guitar is likely a Fender XII (twelve string model), with 6 six strings, body sort of like a Mustang, used during Woodstock and Fillmore concerts and the European tour in the early seventies.

  • Incredible slide guitar and great blues. What is the deal with the crowd. They seem so passive seeing one of the greatest blues guitar players in the world

  • Jimi and Johnny will always be the BEST ! Black and White Baby !

  • is that the type of guitar that glencampbell (spell'd wrong, maybe) played on the smothers brother's show ? ... doing wichita lineman - in any case ,it's sure a long neck can anyone tell me something abt this guitar & it's construction.? thank you.

  • He looks so damn happy....always will be #1 in my book. Muddy Waters, BB King and Willie Dixon knew Johnny was amazing.

  • more feel than SRV,EC et al; revved up 50s hard hittin urban edge; the real deal!!!!!!

  • Shit man, look at the audience sitting still, they don't dig the blues at all!!!
