Kansas growers of sensitive and organic crops are increasingly concerned about drift damage from commonly used pesticides. Bill Wood, Director of the Douglas County Extension Office created Project Good Neighbor to help reduce the risk of pesticide drift damage. The Kansas Department of Agriculture hosts a sensitive crop registry where growers can make their sensitive crop locations known. Pesticide applicators can use this registry to identify where extra care should be taken to protect these vulnerable crops. Visit: http://www.ksda.gov/pesticides_fertilizer/content/177
