Parkan: The Imperial Chronicles Intro & Gameplay

Parkan: The Imperial Chronicles is a space flight and trade simulation with first-person shooter style game play.
Released on September, 1997, made by Russian developers team, Nikita, and published by 1C, the game is a mixture of 3D-shooter and Elite-like
gameplay.
The main goal of the game - is to find spaceship "Wanderer". But even when found it, it is not the end...

Need to say that the game generated surfaces of the planets randomly when visiting them first time. It gave a game an ability to "deeply immerse" into it...
Player could be a trader, a space pirate, or even capture planets as well.

It's just epic! Unlike most of the modern games, it has its own epic mood. Russians really know what good science fiction is!

I remember this game at mabye at late 90s. But I lost my patience just flying on big space to search some part of engine. But I liked soundtrack.

Few years ago 1C released a DVD "Parkan: Gold Edition" which included package with Parkan 1 to run on WinXP and highter. Only 400 Mb and children dreams come true *)

@I3uh Sorry, ich kann leider kein englisch, aber ich sag Dir mal was. Parkan 1 ist schon ca. 13-14 jahre alt, es war mal auch mein Lieblingsspiel. Und Win7 habe ich auch. Parkan 2 läuft bei mir NICHT! Und es ist junger als Parkan 1. So gehe ich davon aus, dass das Spiel bei mir (genau wie bei Dir) nicht laufen wird (schade, aber ist einfach zu alt)

I want to go back in time and play it once more!! help me how to run it under modern version of windows.. for now I have Win7 ...
