facial tics or seizure activity?

Often I have similar ticks on the right side of my face and my right shoulder muscles. I can control them, but it takes some effort. Once I focus on not doing it enough, they go away and I don't have to think about it anymore.

its most likely tourettes syndrome. but check with a doctor just to make sure

and as a pediatric nurse, I can tell you that this does not look like seizure activity....

this looks very much like a Tourette's tic...this was the first tic all three of my children with Tourette's started with. They all started at 4 years old with this specific tic. Unfortunately, when people hear about Tourettes...they think of swearing, which only happens in approx. 1% of patients. Some other tics that you may be seeing now are vocal tics..which for my kids was short grunts, and sniffing was also another one. They come out A LOT when they watch tv....
