thanks for the video, when was it shot? We get these up here in DC also every 17 years, the last time was 8 years ago, been thru two of these cycles since moving here, it is really cool! And they sound like a UFO when the cicadas get singing together...

I was wondering about that, I guess the 17 year cycle falls on different years for different locations, the cicadas we had last time looked the same as the ones in your video, thanks for sharing!
