thats a good comparison...yes, and recently heard an artist refer to painting as a wink at eternity. I believe poetry would apply most succinctly there as well.

I have watced this video several times over the last year and get something new out of it each time. I, too, am currently a slave to detail, Larry. It controls me on the canvas. I want to feel free when the brush is in my hands. I want to be more forgiving of myself and encourage 'happy accidents' to quote dear Bob Ross.
