Jesus gives a prophecy in Luke that didn't come true.

  • Consider this, you could be taking the translation too literal. Tasting death, you must be conscious to taste death. Therefore dying in your sleep could be dying without tasting death. However anything is possible with Yahweh! Take a few minutes to think about the modern Bible that is circulated and how it was translated. Even the modern churches. There is much corruption. Much was lost in translation. The sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday. Christian Holidays are ancient pagan holidays.

  • @DrBlueSparrow

How do you know you must be conscious to 'taste' death? Sounds like a bald assertion without anything to back it up, to me.

You are right, there is much corruption. So, how does anyone know what the original words were? Answer, there is NO way to know.

  • Sounds like double talk to me. The soul is eternal.

  • Who fucking beleives this shit anymore? Goddamn, it's time to growup and say goodbye to your imaginary friend.

  • Has anyone seen the latest polls? Christianity has been on a downward spiral for 400 years and lately it's been declining in America too. Woo hoo!

It shouldn't be long and everyone will realize that gods are just imaginary friends for credulous people.

  • @formless777,

How you do err. Stars falling from the sky does not mean whole stars. It means meteors, meteorites. elsewhere described as great hailstones. It could also mean stars and planets burning up. He did not say during his generation. he said "this generation" the generation that would see all these things come to pass.

You certainly limit the messiah by just 4 tasks. He also is to be cut off(Dan9-26) Did you forget that one? There are hundreds of scriptures regarding messiah, not just 4.

  • @glipzik

Happily. Regarding Jesus' false prophecy I direct you to read Matthew 24. In verse 24:29 Jesus predicts as part of the Tribulation that the stars will fall from the sky (which is simply physically impossible) and in verse 24:34 I says it will all come to pass during his generation.

As to the 4 tasks of the Messiah include: Being anointed King of Jews, Reunite the Jews in Israel, Bring world peace, Rebuild the Temple. Note that Jesus achieved none of these while alive.

  • @formless777 You are welcome to your opinion, but one thing we can both agree on is that the truth will be known one day.

  • @formeless 777,

Cite the scripture where Jesus predicted all the stars would fall out of the sky before 200ad.

I must have missed that one. And what are the four tasks of the messiah? Educate us oh learned one.

  • @dracoinvictus,

You are completely without understanding of the words of Jesus or the bible. On the day of pentacost, they were all in one accord when the spirit fell upon them all as cloven tongues of fire and they spake in new tongues as the spirit gave them utterance

These are those who did not taste of death till they saw the kingdom of God. For the kingdom does not come with observation but the kingdom is within you.

Is this all you've got to call Jesus a false prophet?

  • @thementalpatient2005

I think we can talk about a meaningful statistical average that represents what most of the Jews think on this issue. As to Jesus' predictions, he also predicted that all the stars would fall out of the sky before 200AD, and that didn't happen either. Jesus failed the 4 tasks of the Messiah, and he was a false prophet. Jesus = Samael the desolate one. That is what you worship.

  • @glipzik

If necessary I guess they will. As to demonizing them, go line up with Hitler and the other anti-Semites you foul minded SOB. You pray to THEIR God as a hand-me-down, you scumbag. Now you can kid yourself that your cult has the right of it, but really, your cult doesn't even know how to read the scripture, let alone interpret it correctly.

  • @formless777 All Jews don't think the same just like all American Christians. You assert every single Jew share the same belief. You are right however that the their church leaders and most common jews didn't accept Jesus as their savior. Jesus predicted that when he stated the first(jews) should be last and last(gentiles) will be first to enter the Kingdom Of God which is here now for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

  • @formless777,

Wow! The jews will make it a nuclear wasteland so that if they can't have it, no one else will..ever? I'm sure you're right. If they could do 9/11 to gain support in destroying their enemies, there is nothing beneath them. That only proves they are the sons of Belial. possessors of every evil trait known to the hearts of men.

  • @glipzik

It is true that the Jews have been driven out of every country. They have learned the hard way that Christians are evil, and in time they came to realize how to make their way in the world despite all the Christians trying to murder them every decade or so. Now in time they have built their own country in the Holy Land, and armed it with nuclear weapons so it cannot be taken away save that none may ever live there ever again. They're doing just fine.
