That is why Hindus keep cows.It gives us milk..Helps in ploughing..cow dung is used to make manure which is really good fertilizer for plants ...and also biogas..which is used as cooking gas..And if people have their own farmlands they need not be dependent on govt..And in olden times everything from bag to shoes everything manufactured in India was(even now in some rural areas) from natural products and was biodegradable..People used to exchange goods.This is Vedic(Hindu) way of living

Reading the Hindi on sign boards and buildings, it does not look like Bangladesh. I think it is most likely a northern India locale.

There is a scientific reason why cow is so much revered in India. Read this scientific paper and then learn that just like Yoga, the Indians knew their animals better since ages. Ironically, the patents on cow urine is registered in the US though. Go figure. h ttp://idosi.org/gjp/4%281%2910

I live in a modern city in U.S. and am not Indian. But even I can see the benefits to this kind of knowledge. For example if we have a major earthquake that takes out all the modern conveniences, just wait and see how many people wish they knew how to survive on knowledge like this that doesn't require any electricity etc. It's good to know!

@pogularocky Those people living there are grownup with these activities, so they have all kind of antibodies to stay unsick.A person who gets in touch for the first time must wear hand gloves. They will not get serious sickness , just e.coli infections etc.

What the hell u r talking about? They use the cow dung as fuel. They save energy. This is what must be done in USA too. If they do it the fuel used will be reduced and the oil prices will become halved. So do not tell me she is dirty. She only showed the collection of dung. She did not show the making of pan cake type thgings before drying them. The dry cakes are used to burn to produce heat to cook .
