@nicomell1 Yes exactly right and wrong are completely subjective and therefore meaningless terms, at least as people commonly employ them. Although most people presuppose some kind of objective standard when they talk about right and wrong, all such notions became void when we figured out God does not exist.

@MiltiadesOfMarathon ps-Or would you say that right and wrong is completely subjective/dependent on what a person feels is right and/or wrong? And even then that still would mean that there is no such thing as right and wrong, yes????
-
@MiltiadesOfMarathon Question...How are we to discern between right and wrong? Or is there no such thing as right and wrong? I am well aware that what one culture deems as right and/or wrong, another culture will say different. That being said, I am led to believe that there is no such thing as right or wrong. Is that how you feel?

@LordSethFilms Maybe, we'll never know with Hitler.

@Bhhsboy1 I wasn't referring to the holocaust as a war, I'm just saying they are obviously connected. And again, religion is certainly part of the whole thing whether the primary motive or not.

@nicomell1 Yes there is a point to be made that by framing the conflict religiously recruitment efforts were made much easier and so perhaps more men were mobilized than otherwise would have been, leading to a bigger war. This just does not make much of a difference to my central point though, humans dont need religion in order to kill each other. Killing each other is one of our favourite pastimes due to our inherent nature as dictated by the fundamental rules of existence in this universe.

@LordSethFilms If this was the case the first crusade would have been launched the moment the holy lands fell into Muslim hands, but it was not. The first crusade was launched in response to a call for aid from the Byzantine emperor Alexios after all Byzantine territory in asia minor was lost after the disastrous battle of Manzikert. By framing the war in religious terms, the then Pope Urban II made it western Christian's duty to help out their eastern brothers; a powerful recruitment tool.

@LordSethFilms Firstly the holocaust wasn't a war, andHitler was not so much against them for being a religion but for being an inferior race. and no man belived that god was against him. many people believed he was tied to the occult and not a believer of god. Mein kampf is of course a book of drivvle.
His arrogance has nothing to do with his nationality, it has everything to do with being correct, and he wants to make a point of it. People who do not believe in a god see the world as a better place without religion. Without religion there wouldnt be so many people from different countries that want to kill eachother to prove there god is the real god. A world that has a chance to get along and explore space together, so stop using nationality as a way to divide us.
