  • ABBA did record 'Alley Cat' in 1975 and it was very similar to Tiger very funky and catchy. I have heard the unreleased demo

  • To those in doubt: Do your research! This is ABBA humming to "Alley Cat." The song was written and performed by a Danish man named Bent Fabric, and it became an international hit in the early 1960's. ABBA were guests on Bent Fabric's Danish television show in 1975, and they were asked to hum along to "Alley Cat" at the end of the show. It's not their song, but it is them humming. There are clips from the show in which you can see ABBA gathering around a piano, and humming "Alley Cat."

  • I've had the 17 second version for sometime now, but this is much better.

  • @gladriel69 can you hear it?

  • Mamma Mia! That was delightful! :-)

  • @ABBAinternet It sounds like something produced for Muzac..almost. The Muzac wannabes slowed down popular songs, to make them more acceptable grocery store music.

But this is so much more pleasant than the awful pop garbage that's played in public spaces, today. I know someone who collects 60s Muzac (as Americana). I'm amazed by how much classier even the grocery store music was, back then, than the subhuman pop sleaze keeping us out of stores (& certain airports...Midland-Odessa is worst).

  • what's wrong with Agnetha's eyes at :41?

  • @coochdancerivy I really do want to meet them- wouldn't that just be amazing? Thanks for the information and "plan", too :)

  • Hi LuvAbba ... What a cute version of an old, old classic. I noticed from the comments below that there are a lot of Abba fans who hope to one day meet them. Come on over to my channel and create Abba's 9th album. If enough of us protest Abba's 35-years of "compilation albums", perhaps we can bring them out of hiding , get them to grow up, and treat us, their fans, with reverence by going back into the studio ... AT LEAST ONE MORE TIME. We deserve that. Hope to hear from all of you. Ivy

  • this is the real version man, i have the video on my PC...

  • This version is a FAKE. The original track was slowed down and edited in order to fit the other instrumental track wich was used like an overdub. There more sonic errors that prooves it is a fake, like the flange caused by the time extention....
