同性恋恐惧症 Homophobia (3 of 3)

"Homophobia" is a non-rational objection to and in some cases hatred of homosexuality and homosexuals. It is a mental illness -- a real deficiency -- and although not transmitted via blood, sexual relations or from mother to child, it is every bit as as much of a disease as HIV/AIDS. A few rather prominent members of society are afflicted with this terrible disesase, they include the ostensibly straight US Republican President George W. Bush, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as well as their closet-case compatriots, US Republican Senator Larry Craig and Pope Julius I. Through their politics and posturing, these men have used their positions of power to stunt the development of an open and diverse human society... but rest assured that civilization will march on and our modern history won't be stopped -- things will continue to change. Like a person's sexual orientation -- it's not a choice -- change will continue. And as for those poor suffering homophobes, we will find an cure... a round of respect for others, a good dose of being open to diversity, and Good Good Study, Day Day Up.
