i'm a newb who got this thing as a gift and none of the intonation videos online are clear. Not a one show the tuner readings while intonating. would it be possible to demonstrate how to set intonation on an electric guitar using this tuner?

@Gumbyspike Setting intonation properly is not quite as simple as matching harmonics and fretted notes. Further compensation is typically needed depending on several technical facets of the instrument being intonated and the player's playing style. In other words, there is a lot of experience required to temper each string's scale length for the person who is playing the instrument.

This is such an unfair comparison lol.

This one seems to be more "complete" than the stompbox version. They should cut a deal when you want to buy both ;)

I just returned the Peterson back to GC and bought this tuner, and this is the TUNER. Just the best, simpler and more accurate tuner that I tried. I bought the floor version and it fits right in my pedalboard. Very happy with it and congratulations to the designers of this masterpiece...!
The new tuner is the way to go. Faster and much more accurate, apparently.
With precision like that it will be the right tool for any guitar player who wnats to set up a compensation nut or to do precise intonation.

No doubt about it. And the strobe effect leds makes it real easy to fine tune. With the Qwik Tune I would be lucky if I could just get one string was in tune and then tune the rest off that string which of course increases the likelihood of being out of tune overall.
