  • Thanks! I did replace the wire anti-flutter spring that was broken when I acquired the machine. Also, one rear foot was missing and I bought another original to replace it from George Vollema. I love pre-fire Amberolas!

  • Your V IS in great shape. I cant hear the motor grinding which is a big problem with its design. Plus is sounds like the anti flutter pins arent broken. I just spent a ton of money and time getting my V to sound that good. Congrats!

  • John, what a beautiful machine! It must have been quite entertaining to watch the reactions of passers-by to a cylinder phonograph, especially as the average person doesn't even know what a cylinder record is.
