The past life of the boy was his teacher's husband. She didn't know this in the beginning until when she saw his drawings of her and the mine (where he died in his past life). I think in the end the boy died again from the freezing temperature.

what?! No its not. The teacher's boyfriend who died from a mining accident in 'Gone with the Wind' MV, is the little boy's older brother. She left the town before she knew about the younger sibling. The teacher suspected or was reminded of him cos she saw a resemblance in the little boy and at the end she made the connection through the picture, drawings and the old room. Whether the boy died is questionable, i dont think he did though.

Well, I don't think it's his little brother. I think the boy's the guy from "Gone with the Wind" mv reborn, as hanguksaranghaeyo indicated. At the end of the MV before this one, the girl says "If we're fated to be, even if we're born again I'll love you." So, I think that means the boy was a reincarnation or something along those lines. Also, there was never any indication of a brother in the previous MV.
