  • atleast you have a chance in this crule world

  • Play a c5 for 10 secs

  • @keatonisftw when I was 14 I can

  • @TheJjkorlino WOW!!! You are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm fifteen and can play the E above that. And I have been able to do that since I was 13. Also you shouldn't insult someone before you know how long they have been playing. Eg- a 1 year player can play within one ocatave fluently, and touch on High D&E. Thats perfectly good. A 5 Year player with that range can be insulted because they havent improved much. Out of curiosity- How long have you been playing?

  • @AnalBoning

Yeah, it is. Tightening your embouchure is the LAST thing you want to do. Itstead, work on loosening up the center of the embouchure and tighten the corners, rather than straining. Also, if you are are having range issues, try using lip slur techniques with as close to zero pressure as possible, or just do more lips slurs in general. When you puff your cheeks, you tighten the corners, which in turn gives you higher immediate range, but does serious damage to your versatility.

  • 3 people can play higher than C

  • Since apparently we're all experts here, I want to know; I have braces and can't tighten my embouchure anymore. Is it cheating if I puff my cheeks sometimes to scream those upper 6 - 7 octave notes?

  • @TheJjkorlino I'm 14 and I hit a G above high C. Your move.

  • me either i wish top of staff but i have asthma so itz hard gah
