This is our band Kassa trying to get warm in a freezing cold Church hall last January. We are practising the rhythm Soko. Soko is a traditional rhythm played by the Malinke in the Faranah region of Guinea Conakry. There's a of couple silly mistakes in the soloing - apologies to the hard core musicians who know this rhythm well.

  • I'm pleasantly surprised - it's much better than I remembered! Funny how I only seem to remember mistakes. There's a lesson there methinks. Nice one for posting this Steve (I wasn't really thinking 'muppet' you know!)

  • @djembeweaver Yeah I know you weren't thinking that, but I'm just having a laugh!
