My 100" inch Home Cinema / Theatre - With 700W JBL, Sony And Eltax Sound System !

Here is a video of my Home cimema (AKA the Lounge).

it comprises of a 100 inch projector screen, A sanyo LCD HD Projector, 4 x JBL Control 1G Speakers + 1x JBL Center speaker, a Sony 700w AV Amp and an Eltax Thunder active Sub to top it all off.

Its brilliant for watching movies and for playing the Wii and Play station. as you could amagin it would be pretty life size to be playing call of duty 4 with this setup !

i dont know what our neighboors think of the 700w sound system, but oh well. lol

I have set up the system so i can view the Sky, PS3, VHS, DVD and Wii all through the screen so it can be used as our normal TV. lol

My next upgrade to the system is going to be an automatic electronic screen that comes down with a touch of a button.

Cheers, True, a 100inch LCD or Plasma isnt cheap, but you can get very good results from a decent projector.

from my point of view yes its well worth it. since i installed it i have had many hours of enjoyment from it. plus its alot cheaper than buying a large plasma or lcd tv. Well worth it if you have the many to buy the right equipment.

Videos of projectors always look bad for some reason, like filming a CRT with a shitty camera, you see loads of black lines everywhere on it.

@hugecookiemonster i agree, i have a 52 inch 120 hz lcd tv and it looks great. i did get used to the 120hz so i got a EPSON 8700UB with 120hz fine frame interpolation and it looks awesome and i didnt have to go spend alot of money and i got a free extra 4,000 hr bulb. projectors are awesome. movie theater projectors suck vs home theather projectors.

Anyone that thinks lcd and plasma are better than projectors CLEARLY haven't seen a decent projector before! and dont say i have been to the cinema because they have to stretch to very large sizes. the best projector i have seen is a £2000 panasonic projector and that was amazing beats any lcd or plasma by miles and that still isnt the best projector.

uh projectors are way better than flat screens and paying upto like 5 or more grand for a 50" lcd? i paid £800 for my pj and i can get upto 300" 1080p pic XDXD
