North Korea threatened military force against South Korea, Tuesday, a day after South Korean civic groups sent tens of thousands of leaflets into the North by balloon.

A commentary carried by North Korea's official news agency warned of an "advanced pre-emptive strike of our own style" that "will reduce everything... to debris, not just setting it on fire." That wording echoes threats from North Korea in previous years to turn the South Korean capital into a "sea of fire."

  • I did some searching around and found this group, Fighters For A Free North Korea/North Korea Freedom Coalition, that is sending the balloons which you can support with your financial donations.

  • I am glad there are human rights groups doing their part, but this doesn't show nk threatening to turn the south into debris.

  • That stupid North Korean leader of theirs is so idiotic! I'm sure many of them who are resideing in North Korea wants to transfer to South Korea! They oughta be charging them!
