As The World Turns stars Van Hansis (Luke) and Jake Silbermann (Noah) will be attending the GLAAD Media Awards in New York on March 28th. It has since been learned that the popular supercouple will present a video montage of the last 20 years of the event. At the first award ceremony, ATWT won the first Outstanding Daytime Drama award given to a soap for their gay storyline featuring Hank Eliot, played by Brian Starcher, who was daytimes first openly gay male character.

Van Hansis has been pre-nominated for a Daytime Emmy (again) for playing groundbreaking gay character Luke Snyder on As the World Turns. Billy Magnussen, who plays Casey Hughes, was also pre-nomed for Best Younger Actor, which was Vans category until he aged out of it this past year.
ATWT has cast the actors who will play fraternal twins, Zac and Zoe, in the Luke/Noah storyline (SOD) Nicholas Galbraith plays Zac. Melinda Sullivan plays Zoe. Zac may become a part of a triangle with Luke and Noah. Zac and Zoe start airing on Wednesday, April 1. Luke is startled , when he sees Damian emerge by his bedside. Holden and Lily are surprised when they return and find a newly returned Damian by Luke's side. They're skeptical of Damian's intentions in returning to Oakdale. And they might possibly be right in their skepticism..(SOS)

Lily wants Damian to leave!
Week of March 30/April 3 Damian tries to reach out to Luke by agreeing to fund PSA's for the foundation, but Luke coldly refuses. Holden and Lily agree to fund the PSA's themselves and return from taping to find their house ransacked. Although evidence keeps mounting against Damian, Noah's convinced that Damian really is innocent and tries to convince Luke of the same. Luke doesn't budge and when Damian approaches Noah for help reaching out to his son, Noah rebuffs him. (SOS)
