As a percussionist I'd like to know, do you use a certain type of wine glass in particular?

Any wine glass that sounds good,anyway they

are all normal drinking glasses.Not specially

made for music.

Hi Xaederaz,to make a wine glass resonate

you must rub a clean wet finger around the

rim, keeping the base steady on a flat surface.

Try for your self,if it doesn't work ither

the glass or your fingers are not clean,

rinse

the glass well and your fingers too.

@roberttiso Basicly works through the ridges of your finger catching on and letting go of the glass. This action essentualy 'pluks' the glass. That's why you need very clean fingers and glass. oil will make then slide and not catch/release.
