Rivera stings Kennedy with a solid right hand to start the round, but Kennedy shoots in and picks him up for a big slam, moving to mount before Rivera recovers half-guard. Kennedy continues working for position, staying active and keeping Rivera on the defensive.
Kennedy again gets full mount and this time blasts away with some big shots. Rivera looks hurt as he rolls to his side and tries to cover up. Another right hand gets through his defenses and Rivera may be out. Kennedy lands one more right hand and the referee stops the bout.
A dominating performance for Kennedy. Rivera is still down as the medics move in to carry him out, hopefully only as a precautionary measure.
