1inch of fish size = 1 gallon

Take out 25% of your fish... you have to much. please! it reminds me of some ZOos that keep Africans in huge aquarium but extremely OVER STOCKED and you can see the fish hardly swimming... it looks like your going in that direction!

you need a bigger tank

i think u need a wall paper...

Sure you can, but will it be beneficial and healthy to your fish???? probably not. Oscars need to be fed with lots of protein, while most african cichlids do not. If you overfeed african cichlids with too much protein, it will cause them to bloat and die. Therefore, I do not recommend mixing them since oscars and africans need to be cared for very differently.

A good rule of thumb is One inch of fish per gallon of water

I would put more rocks in there for them to swim in and out off and around.......

@3000carriers hey whateva floats ur boat man. lots of people do stuff that works for a while but after 6 months or so disaster strikes then fish need rehoming some end up half mutilated and dead. which kind of kills the awesome display u had in mind . i have 4 tanks of my own and have done some crazy stupid stuff in some of them so just letting you know that experience is the best and worst teacher. But fish are like people they have different personalities. U might just get lucky or...

@trek9090 i saw many videos that they keep together cichlid and oscar. they are not fighthing.
Your crazy if you think that is overstocked there is so much filtration its not even funny!
Besides you have to cram African Cichldis. If you do some research you'll find out in the wild in some parts of the lake there are 3 per cubic foot. That's a lot!!!
