  • When do you generally operate? I usually working 20 meters at W1VCM on Saturday afternoons. more times than not, I'm checking into the Mairetime and OMISS nets. the Moosley beam didn't fair so well in our October Surise from mother nature, but I'm still able to get a decent signal out.

  • @kellingc 20M is usually open all day at my station, and I operate on it throughout the day.

  • would people from FCC knock on your door if you transmit on frequencies outside your license limit?

  • @260830107 I wouldn't be surprised if they did knock on your door.

  • @N7TFP but how would they know though?

  • @260830107 Many ways... Radio direction finding, reports from other hams... etc. It is usually quite easy to locate a transmitter.
