An enormous thank you to Jay Cutler, starting Quarterback with the Chicago Bears, for his generous support of the first overnight camp in southern Indiana for childrfen with Type 1 Diabetes. This new camp program is a joint partnership with St Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Following an inquiry request by camp's the Executive Director, Mark Scoular, Jay's foundation invited the camp staff and prospective campers up to Chicago on Dec 4th, 2011 to watch a game and meet with Jay to talk about his possible involvement/support of the new camp. What an enormous surprise when Jay truly gave an early Christmas gift and provided this fantastic donation to ensure the camp happens in 2012!
This clip aired on NBC's Football Night in America, before the Bears/Packers game on Christmas Day, 2011. We also want to thank NBC sports for doing a great job on putting the story to video.
