Converted 1/24th RC cars to Slot Cars. Cost of cars: $6.99-$12.99. Cost to convert: 1 - 3 dollars. These can be more fun than real $60 - $80 Brand name slot cars and run just as well. Some even offer better detail and realism. With the batteries installed the head lights stay on and brake lights come on when your finger comes off the trigger. Also, The steering stays functional in the car and you can incorporate the rc controller hardware into the Carrera controller allowing you to steer the front wheels into a turn. In this video I play a little heads up single elimination drag racing to see which of the cars is the fastest....... The $6.99 350z kills them all lol.

  • Where do you buy track and cars like those?

  • @aaisom The track and slot cars are available online or possibly at your local Hobby shop... Most of these cars were RC cars from Walmart. I converted them to run off track power instead of batteries and added a guide so it stays in the slot. Thanks for watching..
